Laura wanted to buy her new home but she and her realtor knew that the home wouldn’t pass an appraisal in its current distressed condition. Solution – we simply got her a conventional renovation loan where the home could be appraised as-improved (not as-is), and the costs of those renovations were rolled into her new mortgage! She closed on her new home, and within a month the renovations should be completed…and were all able to be financed at an incredible low, tax-deductible interest rate!
